1. Strengthening Governance and Legal Legitimacy
The Incorporated Trustees of Akpautong–Urua Okok Communities Development Network (ITAUCDN) has officially transitioned into a fully institutionalized body. Following our Strategic Governance Session in Eket, we are pleased to confirm our legal incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (**RC 9126646**).
This milestone allows us to consolidate institutional legitimacy, ensuring that all corporate-community engagement protocols are legally binding and protect the interests of our people.
2. Accountability in Community Assets
During the Emergency Community Meeting on January 18, 2026, the Board addressed critical lapses regarding unauthorized borehole construction and scrap disposal. ITAUCDN remains firm on its mandate: community assets belong to the community.
3. Corporate Commitments and CSR
Our engagement with Savannah Energy and H & W Contractors has yielded significant commitments for the 2026 fiscal year. These include the construction of 5 boreholes, ₦14M in consultation fund distributions, and a massive educational legacy project.
Educational Infrastructure
To support the next generation, we have approved the production and distribution of **1,000 classroom desks** for secondary schools within our network.
4. Youth Empowerment and Technical Training
Youth earnings from ongoing projects have reached a landmark **₦3.7M**. We are prioritizing the transition from unskilled labor to technical expertise.
| Focus Area | Target/Beneficiaries |
